Wine Museum
It is inscribed into an historical building built in 1640, located in the heart of a city rich of cultural and artistic backgrounds, a place which should express contemporaneity and wich hosts the traditions of the city: the art of wine and the culture inherited by popes and roman nobility summer residences. The established budget was managed by reaching a balance between the roles played by rehabilitation and furniture design to guarantee a final product able to symbolize the city in the new millennium.
The gallery, made of steel and structural glass, takes place the stable local wine exhibition. To improve light and space control, a digital system was employed that changes opacity through lcd films technology.
Originally, in 1999, it was named after a roman divinity (Iugatinus) to act as a bridge between the history that surrounds this area and the vanguard of the whole project.
